Product Manager/Lead Analyst (T-Mobile, Big Data Division)
About the Company
T-Mobile (LLC "T-Mob") is one of the fastest-growing mobile operators (operating under the MVNO system), focusing on a great product (everything is convenient, fast, and inexpensive) and technological services: AI secretary, advanced protection systems against ads and fraudsters, etc.
In 2023-2024, within a stagnant market, we grew our subscriber base by 2.6 times to 6.5 million active customers and significantly increased business efficiency, turning it from a loss to a profit.
About the Product and Role
We are currently looking for a creative and analytically minded product manager (or lead analyst) who is ready to drive the Big Data division at the intersection of telecom and business data.
Team: cross-team collaboration with all T-Mobile products, the analyst team, and ML engineers.
If you have worked as a lead analyst or product manager, you have relevant experience.
Key Tasks
- Full responsibility and freedom in decision-making to achieve OKRs.
- Leadership and communication: promote initiatives, present ideas to business divisions, build collaboration, manage stakeholders.
- Strategy and analysis: study data and segments, form and prioritize hypotheses, conduct A/B tests to grow key metrics. Identify and prioritize use cases: where and how data can create value.
- Technical expertise: manage the initiative backlog, work closely with the data and ML team at all stages. Integrate and seek synergy with existing models and processes. Evaluate the economic and strategic impact of implementation: how to measure success and record results.
- Drive projects to real implementation and scaling.
We are looking for a candidate who
- Has at least 2 years of experience as a product manager or lead analyst, including managing complex, high-load products with prioritization.
- Can work at the intersection of strategy (where the division should grow) and tactics (which experiment to launch tomorrow).
- Loves to "sell" ideas: present convincingly, negotiate, build trust.
- Thinks with data: calculates unit economics, tests hypotheses through experiments.
- Possesses technical expertise to delve into data infrastructure (ETL, API) and make informed decisions, and has experience interacting with analysts and ML teams.
- Experience in launching products or initiatives "from idea to result"—with measurable effect—will be a plus.
Our Expectations for Soft Skills
- Leadership: Able to lead a team and advocate for the product's position.
- Proactivity: Sees problems and opportunities on their own, generates solutions.
- Critical Thinking: Asks the right questions, does not take data and processes "on faith".
- Strong communication skills: Able to negotiate and easily find common ground with technical and business teams.
- Persistence and patience: you know how to work in long cycles where big results don't come immediately.
Will be an advantage
- Experience in managing data-based products.
- Knowledge of the basics of machine learning and predictive analytics.
