AI-Native Go Engineer

We have built a digital financial institution: a mobile bank and a web application with payments, insurance, utilities, and a marketplace of financial products operating in the South African market. The company has over 100 employees.

We are now transitioning to an AI-native development model and are looking for a new type of engineer.

We don't need a ticket developer. We need an engineer to whom we can assign a problem.

We can say:

"Clients have problem X. Figure it out and bring the solution to production."

From there, you will:

• understand the business context;
• communicate with Product, Mobile, Operations;
• resolve uncertainty;
• design the solution;
• decompose the work;
• use AI agents for implementation;
• verify the result;
• launch it into production.

We don't expect a perfect technical specification. We don't hide behind Jira. We are responsible for the result.

What's important:

• Strong Go skills.
• 5+ years of commercial development experience.
• Distributed and high-load systems.
• PostgreSQL/MySQL, Linux, Git, Docker.
• Architectural thinking.
• Independence and strong communication skills.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools / AI agents.
• PHP/Laravel — basic level will be sufficient.
