About the Company and Team
ELTEX is the largest Russian developer and manufacturer of telecommunication equipment. We create and supply a wide range of solutions: PON, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VoIP, IPTV, and IoT.
The Application development department is the youngest in the company. Currently, over 100 specialists work in this department, including backend and frontend development teams, a mobile development team, an analytics team, and a design team. All teams create and support several products for one ecosystem, Eltex Home, – a system for organizing and managing a smart home.
Candidate Expectations:
- Systems thinking and ability to work with complex solutions;
- Excellent communication skills — oral and written;
- Experience in writing functional requirements, technical specifications, user stories;
- Proficiency in methods of gathering and describing requirements, and their validation;
- Experience with collaborative work systems: JIRA, Redmine, Confluence;
- Knowledge of UML, BPMN/EPC;
- Ability to assess and minimize risks;
- Ability to independently delve into the subject area and find experts;
- Skills in managing customer expectations.
Tasks:
- Gathering business requirements and clarifying them;
- Forming feature content and preliminary estimations for implementation;
- Preparing technical specifications and task decomposition;
- Participation in the architecture and design of solutions;
- Demonstrating solutions to customers, gathering feedback;
- Aligning requirements, implementation principles, and solutions with the customer and team members;
- Developing the internal product knowledge base.
Will be a plus:
- Higher technical education;
- Basic understanding of network equipment and computer network principles.
