Software Engineer (Humanoid Robots)

What tasks await you

Development of teleoperation tools and interaction with robots You will participate in creating a universal teleoperator, compatible with various robot models, to ensure seamless real-time control with minimal latency.

Simplifying control processes You will implement one-click/voice record functionality, allowing the replacement of the "operator + pilot" pair with a single specialist, thereby optimizing the human factor and increasing operational efficiency.

Integration with the data storage pipeline It will be necessary to ensure reliable connection with telemetry storage systems for the collection, analysis, and use of data at scale.

Real-time collision prevention system Development of algorithms that instantly identify potential risks, protect equipment and people around, and maintain robot stability in changing conditions.

Multi-level safety layer (Safety Layer) You will work on integrating and optimizing safety mechanisms for real-time operation—with an emphasis on fault-tolerant architecture, failure prevention, and compliance with standards.

Testing and validation tools This involves creating automated systems for thorough functionality verification, including simulations and real tests, to guarantee compliance with industry norms.

We expect that you

• Have proficiency in C++ (C++17/20) at a level sufficient for developing systems with a focus on real-time, low-latency, and high reliability, or combine this with Python for prototyping in the field of teleoperation
• Have worked with ROS2 and collision detection libraries (FCL, Bullet)
• Have more than three years of experience developing safety-critical systems in robotics, where key issues are robustness and risk prevention

It will be a plus

• Possess deep knowledge of humanoid robot kinematics and dynamics, including aspects of balance, stability, and joint limitations
• Have applied optimization methods (QP-solvers such as OSQP and qpOASES), balance control algorithms (ZMP/CoM), impedance control, and predictive risk analysis to create robust systems capable of operating in uncertain environments
