We are considering candidates from Saint Petersburg or those willing to relocate there. Experience in trading/crypto industry/fintech is a must.
Responsibilities
- Development of trading services: creation and optimization of modules related to exchange activities (spot, margin, futures);
- Analytics and data: development of analytical modules for working with statistics, indicators, and strategy metrics (Sharpe, Sortino, etc.);
- Creation of Real-time UI: design and support of high-performance interfaces on Nuxt 3/4 using WebSocket for instant data updates;
- Working with charts: integration and customization of libraries (TradingView Advanced Charts, d3, lightweight-charts);
- Code quality: writing asynchronous typed code, test coverage (pytest).
Requirements
- Experience: over 5 years of professional backend development and solid experience in frontend development;
- AI-Assisted Development: confident use of modern AI tools to accelerate development and maintain high code quality;
- Backend Stack: expert knowledge of Python 3.11+ (asyncio, FastAPI, Pydantic v2);
- Frontend Stack: confident command of Nuxt 3/4 SSR, TypeScript, Vite and understanding of browser performance (or a similar stack on React);
- Data handling: understanding of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse (desirable) and Redis;
- Infrastructure: proficiency in Docker, Linux, and CI/CD processes in GitLab.
Will be a plus
- Understanding of exchange trading mechanics (order types, slippage, risk management) and experience with pandas/numpy;
- Experience with Rust (understanding of memory and multithreading) or basic code reading;
- Knowledge of NATS protocols and experience with Kubernetes/Helm;
- Experience with FIX protocol or high-load systems (HFT).
