Job description

Kvitto is a fintech service for online businesses: accepting payments from Russia and abroad, installments and loans from partner banks, buy-now-pay-later, checks according to 54-FZ, and cashback from turnover. Clients are online schools, experts, and digital services.

Looking for a Junior Python Developer for the backend team to develop the payment service API. AI assistants are used in the work: it is necessary to check the generated code and bring it to production.

Responsibilities:

• Develop REST APIs on FastAPI for payments, installments, buy-now-pay-later, subscriptions, and refunds.
• Connect banks and payment partners, accept and verify webhooks.
• Design PostgreSQL tables and write Alembic migrations.
• Cover code with pytest and httpx tests, especially calculations of amounts and installments.
• Create background tasks for sending checks, re-sending webhooks, and reconciling statuses.
• Work daily with AI assistants and check the generated code.
• Participate in code reviews and review colleagues' code.

Requirements:

• Python 3.11+, typing, async/await.
• FastAPI, Pydantic v2.
• SQL and PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0 or other ORM.
• HTTP, REST, and idempotency.
• Git, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Ability to provide context to AI assistants, check, and fix generated code.

Will be a plus: understanding of online payments, acquiring, 3-D Secure, refunds, and webhook HMAC signatures; Redis; background tasks with Celery, arq, or Taskiq; integrations with LLM via API; rules for AI assistants, CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules, MCP; ruff, mypy, GitHub Actions, aiogram.
