Description
We develop risk scoring and lead generation products. Our solutions are used by 80% of the Russian banking sector. We also create products for insurance, e-commerce, retail, and tourism.
We are looking for a Middle Python Developer (for a parental leave position) for the OneFactor project team. The service receives subscriber segments from streaming and batch sources, applies filtering and arbitration rules, and then manages mailings through external partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop existing and create new services in Python
- Design and implement the service's business logic
- Create and maintain integrations with Kafka, internal systems, and external partner HTTP APIs
- Improve the performance and reliability of asynchronous services, enhance metrics, logging, and error handling
- Analyze incidents, participate in architectural decisions, and maintain integration tests
Requirements
- From 3 years of commercial Python development experience
- Confident knowledge of asyncio and understanding of concurrent execution, timeouts, retries, and load control
- Experience in API development and service integrations; practical experience with FastAPI or aiohttp
- Good knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, experience with SQLAlchemy
- Understanding of distributed fault-tolerant systems principles and experience with Kafka
- Ability to diagnose production issues and write integration tests
Bonus points
- Experience with Redis and large datasets
- Understanding of Docker containerization
- Service monitoring in Prometheus and asynchronous application optimization
- Willingness to switch to Go if necessary
