Bell Integrator is one of the country's leading system integrators.
We are an accredited IT company and part of the large Softline Group family.
Bell Integrator actively implements projects throughout Russia; our clients include the country's largest system-forming financial, telecom, and retail companies.
Project:
We are building a next-generation technology platform for the production, storage, and distribution of media content. It's an intelligent ecosystem that automates the content lifecycle: from upload and tagging to seamless publication across dozens of digital channels. We are currently developing a key module of the platform — the smart communications service. This is not just a mailing service, but a high-load omnichannel campaign builder that delivers the exact content a user needs at the moment.
Our key tasks:
- Development and enhancement of microservices, their interaction via REST and Kafka; participation in solution design with the team.
- Refactoring, improving the performance and fault tolerance of the mailing service.
- Development of logic for the email builder and personalized communications.
- Development of content adaptation mechanisms for user profiles; among the development directions are AI functions for generating personalized emails.
Technology Stack:
- Language and API: Python 3.12+, asyncio, FastAPI, REST
- Data: PostgreSQL, Tortoise ORM / SQLAlchemy, Redis
- Events: Apache Kafka
- Other frameworks: FastStream, Django / Wagtail
- Search and Analytics: OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
- Agent Development: GigaCode CLI, skills registry, AGENTS.md / rules, MCP
- Infrastructure: Docker, OpenShift (Kubernetes)
- Team Tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence
We are looking for: A Python backend developer who will design, implement, and develop microservices for personalized mailings and communications, and participate in architectural decision discussions. The project actively uses code agents for code generation, testing, and solution verification, as well as for accelerating development and improving product quality.
You are a good fit for us if you know how to manage an agent, decompose tasks, set context and rules, verify solutions, and deliver code to production. Experience in creating RAG systems and AI agents will be an advantage.
How we work with AI agents:
- The team's primary tool is GigaCode CLI. Experience with any similar code agent is suitable: Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, and others.
- We support AGENTS.md / rules, project instructions, and context, manage agent context and sessions. We use ready-made skills and adapt them for project tasks.
- We follow the agent path for tasks: task → context → specification → plan → implementation → verification. We define the expected result, implement the solution with the agent, and verify it against the specification, tests, and readiness criteria. Experience with spec-driven development (SDD) in team development will be a plus.
We expect:
Engineering Foundation
- 3+ years of commercial Python development and a relevant IT education.
- Solid knowledge of Python and asyncio: asynchronous I/O, concurrent execution, understanding the impact of blocking code.
- Practical experience developing services with FastAPI, implementing REST APIs, and participating in their design.
- Experience with microservice development, implementing interaction between multiple services. Understanding of service architecture.
- Confident SQL and PostgreSQL: transactions, indexes, query plans. Experience with ORMs.
- Practical experience with Redis: caching, TTL, and cache invalidation.
- Working with Docker, application logs, and metrics; experience participating in error diagnostics and production incidents for your service.
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka in production. Understanding of delivery guarantees and message order; implementation of idempotent processing and duplicate protection.
Agent Development
- Daily work with a code AI agent: for example, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and others in agent mode.
- Ability to consistently follow the agent path for a task: decompose work, manage context and sessions, set constraints and readiness criteria.
- Ability to use and adapt AGENTS.md / rules and ready-made skills for project tasks.
- Understanding the purpose of MCP and the ability to use agent tools through ready-made integrations.
- Ability to explain generated code, verify its correctness, fix errors, and bring the solution to production.
What you will be doing:
- Participating in service interaction design: discussing their responsibilities, APIs, and event contracts.
- Developing asynchronous microservices with FastAPI.
- Implementing Kafka event processing: delivery guarantees, idempotency, retry processing; applying team-accepted solutions for data change synchronization and event publishing.
- Using code agents for development, maintaining project rules and skills, verifying and refining generated code.
- Writing unit and integration tests, conducting code reviews, documenting technical solutions.
- Working with logs and metrics, participating in diagnostics and troubleshooting of project services.
- Participating in task decomposition and estimation, supporting them through implementation; interacting with analysts, QA, and frontend developers.
Conditions:
- Opportunities for professional and career growth within the company, the chance to participate in various projects;
- Experience working in a distributed team of professionals;
- Salary level is discussed individually;
- Corporate discounts on foreign language learning, fitness club memberships, and educational courses;
- Work format - Office during the probation period, then hybrid (in Moscow)
