Yandex Games is looking for a PR Lead.

The Yandex Games team develops tools for developers and users worldwide. For users, they maintain a catalog of browser online games, and for developers, a catalog for free hosting of their own browser games, a platform for in-game advertising monetization, and tools for game advertising.

The team is looking for a PR Lead who will become the voice of the project for the media, the gaming community, and partners, strengthening brand awareness and loyalty in Russia and internationally. You will be tasked with taking the Yandex Games brand to the next level through strong PR strategies and communications. You will be responsible for shaping the public image of the products.

What tasks await you:

• Development and implementation of PR strategy: you will create and continuously improve the PR strategy for Yandex Games: analyze the market, define key messages, plan PR campaigns and their adaptation for Russian and foreign audiences.
• Brand promotion and media relations: you will actively promote the brand through interaction with gaming and technology media portals, organizing publications, podcasts, interviews, and events. You will build long-term relationships with journalists and opinion leaders.
• Development of community communications: your key task is to build direct, honest, and engaging communication with the gaming community. We have already established a dialogue with developers, and now you will become the link between the project and its future users.
• Organization of content creation: you will manage content creation – from articles and press releases to materials for events, working with the internal editorial team and external contractors. Your task is to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with the brand's Tone of Voice.
• Analysis of effectiveness and reporting: you will need to evaluate the results of PR activities based on specific metrics, analyze their impact on brand awareness, and prepare transparent reports for the team.

Requirements:

• Have worked in the gaming industry.
• Have experience in PR and media (including running PR campaigns and brand promotion).
• Ability to analyze the effectiveness of PR activities based on metrics.
• Possess strong communication skills and experience interacting with media portals, including foreign ones.
• Ability to organize the work of contractors and agencies for content creation.
• Understand the legal nuances of text preparation.
• Confident command of English – for business correspondence, content creation, and oral communication.
