Responsibilities
The Cloud team works on several products:
- EdgeCenter Terraform Provider - a plugin for interacting Terraform with our cloud
- Storage API - a proxy service for managing S3 storage based on Ceph
- Storage Statistics - a service for collecting statistics on S3 storage usage
- Storage API Go Client - a client for interacting with the Storage API
- Cloud API Go Client - a client for interacting with the Cloud API
What you will be doing:
- Supporting and developing all Cloud products. The main focus will be on the EdgeCenter Terraform Provider;
- Participating in the design of the architecture for developed services and its implementation;
- Conducting and participating in code reviews;
- Interacting with the adjacent DevOPS and QA departments.
Requirements
- Golang programming language (syntax, concurrency model, standard library);
- Software design principles (SOLID, DRY, architectural patterns);
- Git version control systems;
- Testing methodologies (unit, integration) and code quality assurance tools;
- Principles of working with relational and non-relational databases;
- Basics of network protocols (HTTP, gRPC).
- Basic principles of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes);
- CI/CD, monitoring, and logging processes in production environments.
Product Stack:
- Programming language: Go(Golang);
- DBMS: ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL;
- monitoring and alerting services: Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry;
- Message brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka;
- Operating systems: Linux;
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes;
- Infrastructure management as code: Terraform.
