For our client, one of the leading HoReCa/FMCG companies in Uzbekistan, we are looking for a Head of Internal Audit.

Location: office in Tashkent (relocation is a mandatory condition).

ABOUT THE ROLE: The internal audit function is being created for the first time in the company. The Head of Internal Audit reports directly to the Board of Directors through the Audit and Risk Committee, ensuring the full independence of the function from operational management.

MAIN TASKS:

• Creation of the internal audit function from scratch: methodology, standards, regulations, procedures.
• Formation and development of the team.
• Development of a risk-based audit plan and its annual update.
• Conducting operational, financial, and compliance audits: production, retail network, international operations.
• Preparation of reports and presentation of results to the Audit and Risk Committee.
• Conducting internal investigations as needed.
• Coordination with external auditors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Audit experience, including 2–3 years in a management position.
• Experience in creating an internal audit function.
• Industry background: Big 4, FMCG, retail, or restaurant chains.
