Company - ZontikIT **Position: **SQL Developer (Oracle → PostgreSQL migration)

Location - Remote within Russia **Salary Range: **238gross - 330gross

About the Product An insurance accounting system with a large codebase (over 90% of the logic is implemented in Oracle PL/SQL). The project is currently undergoing the process of replacing Oracle DBMS with PostgreSQL and involves active work with existing PL/SQL code.

🎯Requirements • Deep knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL • Experience in developing and optimizing procedures, functions, packages, triggers • Experience with: • hierarchical queries • OLAP queries • SQL query optimization skills • Understanding of: • index structures and types • principles of locks and isolation levels • transaction mechanisms in DBMS • Experience with XML and JSON at the database level • Practical experience with Liquibase • Confident work with GitLab (or similar), participation in code reviews • Experience with PostgreSQL (preferably in the context of migrations)

🎯Will be a plus • Experience migrating from Oracle to PostgreSQL • Understanding of the differences between Oracle PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL • Experience with high-load databases • Knowledge of database performance analysis tools
