Industrial Designer with Rhinoceros and Grasshopper skills for Alice and Smart Devices Team

A designer in the smart devices with Alice industrial design group participates in all stages of product image creation: from research and concept formation to detailing and presentation of the finished mockup. They don't just implement ideas, but generate them themselves, constantly improve skills, and offer fresh solutions.

You will be responsible for the industrial design of smart devices, creating new products that improve users' lives.

What tasks await you

Creating product appearance You will be creating beautiful and compelling product images that have meaning and significance, while finding innovative and effective solutions that consider both the aesthetic component and utility.

Solving business problems You will solve tasks within the brief, communicate to clarify it, build logic in responses, answer given questions, and support answers with good technical knowledge.

Time management You will need to estimate and control project deadlines, expected results, and optimally combine and use resources.

We expect you to

• Have worked with surfaces and SubD in Rhinoceros 3D, built controlled patterns on curved and composite surfaces in Grasshopper
• Understand the broad context of the brief: company business objectives, competitive environment, strategy and future vision, product line
• Can model industrial products in 3D CAD, create sketches, models or physical prototypes and visualizations (3D rendering)
• Can support projects from concept to completion
• Understand the essence of the design process and have experience in designing industrial products focused on solving business problems
• Are ready to propose new ideas, approach problem-solving creatively, share experience, inspire by example, motivate the team, and help it develop
• Can structure a presentation and present persuasive ideas to clients, backed by arguments
• Want to master new skills and processes, ready to step out of your comfort zone to improve results — yours and the team's
• Can establish communication with adjacent teams (engineering, marketing, product, sales) within a project and understand the essence of their activities
• Are capable of considering the opinions of other team members
