Design System Designer for Yandex's HrTech

Yandex's HrTech creates and maintains the ecosystem of internal services for tens of thousands of employees. We develop services for daily life and work: personal profiles and financial dashboards, products for hiring and learning, tools for performance reviews, an internal social network, and we organize programming competitions. Our team has over 300 people.

We are looking for a colleague who will develop the design system — it ensures a unified visual language and consistency across all our services.

What tasks await you

Developing the component library You will develop the component library: gathering requirements, creating designs, describing states, and handing them over to development.

Developing UX patterns You will collaborate with product designers to create and describe unified UX patterns and examples of their use.

Onboarding designers You will collaborate with the art director to develop and conduct onboarding sessions for new product designers.

Control You will attend regular meetings, monitor the consistency of solutions, and audit services to ensure compliance with guidelines.

Collecting metrics You will collect feedback and suggestions from developers and designers — CSI, ZBP.

We expect that you

• Are proficient in UI and know how it impacts key metrics
• Have worked as a designer for complex information services and design systems
• Know how to listen, conduct a dialogue, negotiate, and argue for your decisions

It will be a plus if

• You have created a design system from scratch: developed token architecture, naming conventions, and component properties
