Product Designer for Yandex Travel

Yandex Travel is one of the fastest-growing online booking services for hotels, flights, train, and bus tickets in the Russian travel industry.

In 2024, we took the leading position in the number of hotel bookings, reaching a market share of 29.2%. Over the year, the number of bookings grew by 36%, which is an excellent result. We now work with over 2 million accommodation properties worldwide, and the service's monthly audience is 28 million people.

We are looking for an experienced product designer to join the content team.

What tasks await you

Content stream design You will be responsible for designing the content direction — photos, videos, and descriptions from hoteliers and hosts, as well as reviews, maps, and other elements that motivate users to book. There are many potentially great UX and visual solutions here.

Team collaboration You will work closely with a manager: analyzing context, identifying problems, and generating hypotheses. Maximum involvement will be required at every stage. We have a lot of business context (colleagues will help you understand it), an experienced development team, a fast pace, and, as a result, minimal 'shelfware' designs.

We expect that you

• Have more than three years of experience in product design
• Value emotional and polished UI, love to think outside the box but are not afraid of metrics
• Think in terms of scenarios and patterns, can break down a large concept into understandable steps and refine the details
• Are used to getting to the bottom of things, clearly explaining why a solution works, and calmly defending your position
