We are looking for a Lead Product Owner for the Offering team — a service for managing air ticket and S7 Airlines and partner service offerings across all sales channels. Offering is a highly configurable, high-load solution with complex logic for offer generation, pricing, sales rules, and integrations with external systems.
The key feature of this position is the priority of technical experience: we are considering candidates with a background as a developer or system analyst, possessing a deep understanding of building high-load systems, complex business logic, and practical experience in choosing integration methods (API, message queues, event-driven models).
Your task will be to manage the product at the architecture and requirements level, ensuring a balance between product goals, technical constraints, and solution scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the product backlog, set priorities, and oversee the implementation of initiatives.
- Define the long-term product development direction, advocating for strategic initiatives to business units and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analytics, architecture, development, and business teams to implement the product strategy.
- Participate in the service architecture design, select integration methods, and evaluate technical solutions.
- Monitor change launches, assess their impact on key metrics, and make decisions on further development.
- Interact with DevOps regarding infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and SLA assurance.
- Define and monitor technical SLAs at the product level, participate in planning requirements for fault tolerance and scalability.
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role focusing on e-commerce, travel, or high-load digital products.
- Required: Experience working as a backend developer or system analyst on projects with high-load systems.
- Deep understanding of high-load system architecture: scalability, fault tolerance, distributed system patterns, caching, asynchronous processing.
- Practical experience with complex business logic: offer generation rules, pricing, dynamic configuration.
- Practical experience in selecting system integration methods (REST API, message queues, etc.).
- Solid understanding and experience with technical SLAs (response time, throughput, availability, error rate), ability to define and monitor SLAs for the product.
- Experience interacting with DevOps teams on infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and automation.
- Skills in backlog management, prioritization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in forming a long-term product strategy and advocating for it with business units (an advantage).
