IT company Selecty is looking for a Python Developer for Sheremetyevo International Airport
About the project: Airport ecosystem for resource management. The solution being developed includes modules for the airport's operational database (AODB, which includes seasonal and operational schedules), resource management (RMS), load optimization algorithms (including a digital twin), and related services (e.g., information, monitoring, and control systems). The platform already allows the airport to save a huge amount of resources and optimize processes for passengers and airlines. Winners of the "Leaders of Artificial Intelligence" National Award in the "Transport and Logistics" nomination. Strong team: graduates of HSE, MSU, MIPT, MSTU; ex-Yandex, ex-Huawei.
Job description: We are looking for a developer for a new team, where you will be involved in developing services from scratch within the airport ecosystem. Specifically, the nearest task is FIDS (Flight Information Display System) – managing all airport information displays: schedules at the airport entrance and in the sterile zone, check-in counters, baggage claim counters, and boarding gates. The responsibility of FIDS includes not only displaying critical passenger information but also the operational work of administrators and airport staff with this information and the status of flight check-in and boarding processes, as well as monitoring the status of the displays (operability and correctness of information). The service is closely integrated with other core airport systems: • AODB - Airport Operational Database • RMS - Resource Management System • Common Data Bus (Kafka)
Requirements: • At least 3 years of experience as a Python Developer • Development of web services using fastapi: alembic, sqlalchemy, pydantic, postgres, redis • Use of Kafka, WebSocket, REST API development • Infrastructure work - docker (compose), kubernetes (Helm) • Familiarity with unix, git (gitlab)
Will be a plus: • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures (experience in olympiads and hackathons is welcome) • Experience with RBAC and understanding of authorization and authentication protocols • Experience in developing BFF (backend for frontend) and/or interfaces • Experience with reactive programming and working with real-time data streams (near real-time) • Interest in developing recommendation systems • Ability to balance client requirements with system capabilities • Testing (unit, functional, integration) • CI/CD in GitLab
