We're hiring a Senior Rust Engineer to join an international proprietary algorithmic trading firm.

The Company Behind the Role:

• Proprietary algorithmic trading firm managing the full trading cycle, from development to strategy design.
• Trades across a broad range of asset classes using both HFT and MFT approaches.

Your Impact:

• Design, build, and maintain core platform components in Rust.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and stability based on measurements and load testing.
• Add observability to new components.
• Diagnose incidents in the trading loop, find root causes, and fix them for good.
• Ensure quality through automated and manual testing with QA.
• Document modules, service contracts, and operational runbooks.

Tech Environment (High-Level):

• Rust, Tokio
• Linux
• Distributed and concurrent systems
• (Deep technical stack shared during interviews)

Your Superpower:

• 5+ years building low-latency, high-reliability systems.
• Extensive experience in Rust and Tokio.
• Strong understanding of Linux, networking, data structures, and concurrent programming.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and preference for readable, maintainable code.
• Takes ownership of tasks through to production and clears blockers independently.
• Fluent English.

Bonus Points If:

• Domain knowledge in algo trading, HFT/MFT, crypto, or traditional finance.
• Background in blockchain engineering.
• Prior background in C++, Assembler, Go, or Scala is a strong plus.
