Linux/Unix console skills are required for web application testing. The company has been developing its own products for b2b clients in global Digital Marketing, BI Analytics, and Gaming markets since 2013.

Employees create effective solutions for rapid data processing and transformation, and work on international projects. Minimal bureaucracy and extensive expertise in the technologies used. No legacy code and significant freedom from routine tasks. The testing department has 50+ people (manual, automation, performance). There is an opportunity for development in automated testing (in Python).

Our key stack: PHP 8+, Golang, Python, Mysql, Clickhouse, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, Linux.

What you will be doing

— Manual testing of backend and web applications; — Functional, regression, smoke, integration, and acceptance testing; — Testing REST API and inter-service communication; — Verification of complex business logic and data in the database; — Testing integrations and asynchronous inter-service communication; — Log analysis and problem localization on the backend, database, network, or environment side; — Testing requirements and participation in planning; — Development of test cases, checklists, and other test documentation; — QA support for releases.

What is important

Linux / Unix Solid practical experience working through the console is required: processes, files, logs, grep/pipe, network utilities, service diagnostics. Linux is a key criterion here, not just a point on your resume.

Databases and SQL Experience beyond simple SELECT statements is required. It is important to understand and use:

— JOIN, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, subqueries; — SQL transactions: BEGIN, COMMIT, ROLLBACK; — ACID properties; — Indexes: why they are needed, which queries they speed up, and which operations they can slow down; — Data and business logic verification directly in the database.

Backend / API Real experience testing backend services and REST API through Postman, Swagger, curl, or similar tools is required. It is important to understand HTTP methods, status codes, headers, JSON, authorization, and service interaction.

Networks It is important to understand client-server interaction and network fundamentals:

— TCP/IP; — Connection establishment; — HTTP/HTTPS; — Common ports; — DNS; — TLS/SSL and encryption principles; — Headers and CORS/Origin; — Ability to determine at what level the problem arises: application, network, or server.

Message Brokers Practical experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ is desirable: understanding queues and asynchronous interaction, consumer/producer, partitions, consumer groups, offset, or exchanges/routing.

Will be a plus

— Understanding of OOP; — Experience with Python; — Docker / Docker Compose; — Kubernetes; — Redis, ClickHouse; — CI/CD; — Experience with microservice architecture; — Experience in test automation or a desire to transition to AQA in Python.
