Responsibilities
- Creation and maintenance of up-to-date test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists, test scenarios).
- Definition of acceptance criteria and testing requirements based on user stories and specifications.
- Conducting functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Testing web applications or desktop applications.
- Testing interaction with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Testing message queue systems (RabbitMQ).
- Testing APIs (REST, SOAP) using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Analysis of test results, identification, documentation, and classification of defects in the bug tracking system.
- Participation in discussions of found defects with developers and analysts.
- Suggesting improvements and new tests based on result analysis.
- Active interaction with developers, business analysts, DevOps, and other project participants to clarify requirements and resolve issues arising during testing.
- Participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in testing web applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL): ability to write queries for data verification and preparation.
- Experience with message queue systems (RabbitMQ or similar).
- Experience in API testing (REST, SOAP) using tools like Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Experience with project management and task tracking systems (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Yandex.Tracker, Trello, etc.).
- Deep understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience in developing test documentation: test cases, checklists, test plans.
- Proficiency in test design techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, pairwise testing, etc.).
- Analytical skills and ability to identify defect causes.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and teamwork ability.
