Lotsia company is opening applications for interns for the position of tester. The internship is designed for students of higher education institutions in technical and IT fields. Part-time workload.
What you will be doing:
- Learning the testing process;
- Studying materials and documentation;
- Providing feedback on tasks/functionality/methodologies;
- Participating in testing the functionality of the company's own software product;
- Studying and further compiling test documentation: test cases, test plans, test strategies, test methodology programs;
- Studying and further compiling technical specification analysis and agreeing on a work plan for current tasks;
- Studying the process of compiling a test model and participating in the development of new models for company projects;
- Participating in functional, integration testing processes and providing support for user testing;
- Participating in finding defects and improving the quality of the software product.
What we expect from you:
- Desire to develop in the field of testing;
- Currently pursuing education in a technical or IT field;
- Understanding of basic development and testing terms;
- Knowledge of types of testing and types of test documentation;
- Knowledge of software engineering basics, software development lifecycle, requirements management;
- Understanding the principles of database operation.
Will be a plus:
- Experience of internships or work in the IT field, specifically in testing;
- Knowledge of HTML, JSON, XML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP methods GET, POST;
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS traffic monitoring tools;
- Knowledge of testing standards;
- Knowledge of the principles of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS, macOS, Linux);
- Knowledge and ability to write database queries;
- Knowledge of standards and methodologies applied to applications;
- Knowledge of various types of modern WEB application architectures.
