Itexus is looking for an experienced AI / GenAI Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help build modern AI-powered solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.

In this role, you will work on developing AI-driven applications, agent-based systems, RAG pipelines, and AI services integrated into existing backend platforms and business processes. You’ll collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design scalable AI solutions and bring them into production environments.

Location: Poland preferred, open to candidates across Europe

About the Role

• The engineer will contribute to the development of production-ready AI services, including:
• Integration of LLM models into business applications
• Designing and implementing RAG architectures
• Developing APIs for AI-powered services
• Scaling AI solutions in cloud environments

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI services and Generative AI applications
• Implement LLM-based functionality for various business use cases
• Design and optimize RAG pipelines (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Integrate AI solutions into existing backend systems
• Develop and maintain APIs for AI services
• Work with embeddings, retrieval systems, and vector search
• Optimize performance and reliability of AI-powered systems
• Participate in architecture discussions and technology selection
