IMPORTANT:
- Deep understanding of S3/Object Storage and distributed storage architecture;
- Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms;
- Practical experience operating Data Lake components: Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg;
- Experience operating MinIO / Object Storage solutions.
Tasks:
- Support and operation of Data Lake platforms;
- Support of S3/Object Storage infrastructure;
- Monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution;
- Troubleshooting platform and storage system performance;
- Support of Kubernetes and Data Lake components: Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg;
- Conducting RCA and postmortem analysis;
- Automation of operational tasks;
- Interaction with Data Engineering and infrastructure teams;
- Support of the Big Data Platform.
Requirements:
- Expert experience in Linux administration;
- Experience supporting high-load distributed systems;
- Deep understanding of S3/Object Storage and distributed storage architecture;
- Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms;
- Practical experience operating Data Lake components: Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg;
- Experience operating MinIO / Object Storage solutions;
- Understanding of replication, erasure coding, consistency, fault tolerance;
- Practical troubleshooting experience: CPU, RAM, network, disk I/O, latency, throughput;
- Experience with observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, alerting, log analysis;
- Automation experience: Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python;
- Understanding of incident/problem management and SRE practices;
- Skills in RCA, postmortem analysis, and improving platform reliability.
