Tasks: • Support and operation of Data Lake platforms; • Support of S3/Object Storage infrastructure; • Monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution; • Troubleshooting platform and storage system performance; • Support of Kubernetes and Data Lake components: Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg; • Conducting RCA and postmortem analysis; • Automation of operational tasks; • Interaction with Data Engineering and infrastructure teams; • Support of Big Data Platform.
Requirements: ✔️ Expert Linux administration experience; ✔️ Experience supporting high-load distributed systems; ✔️ Deep understanding of S3/Object Storage and distributed storage architecture; ✔️ Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms; ✔️ Practical experience operating Data Lake components: Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Kafka, Apache Iceberg; ✔️ Experience operating MinIO / Object Storage solutions; ✔️ Understanding of replication, erasure coding, consistency, fault tolerance; ✔️ Practical troubleshooting experience: CPU, RAM, network, disk I/O, latency, throughput; ✔️ Experience with observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, alerting, log analysis; ✔️ Automation experience: Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python; ✔️ Understanding of incident/problem management and SRE practices; ✔️ Skills in RCA, postmortem analysis, and improving platform reliability.
