Freelance Scriptwriter

Antica Productions is looking for a freelance scriptwriter for a video essay series exploring investing, financial decision-making, and the risks facing everyday investors!

We’re looking for someone who can turn complex material into clear, engaging stories—combining careful research and factual accuracy with strong hooks, compelling narrative, and an understanding of writing for video.

You’d be a great fit if you have:

• Experience scripting YouTube video essays, explainers, documentaries, or similar factual content.
• Strong research skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to credible sourcing.
• A knack for making complicated ideas accessible without oversimplifying them.
• A background in finance, investing, or financial journalism—a huge plus.

Start date: ASAP

Compensation: This is a paid freelance contract opportunity. Please email for details on rates and scope.

If you’re interested, please email recruiter contact with a brief introduction and relevant scriptwriting samples and/or a portfolio, ideally including links to the finished videos. As part of the interview process, shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a paid writing assignment.
