Head of remuneration **(Compensation, Benefits & Payroll)
We are looking for a strong Head/Director level executive to lead the remuneration function in an international group of companies. The role involves managing a large team, developing financial control processes, and automating payroll operations in several countries.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the C&B and Payroll function (team of 20–25 people) across several countries and jurisdictions;
- Ensure accuracy in the calculation of salaries, bonuses, benefits, equity programs, and tax payments;
- Build a financial reporting and compensation control system directly reporting to the CFO;
- Develop and implement process automation using ERP systems, 1C/Baz, Excel, and internal tools;
- Ensure compliance with legislation, internal control, audit, and compliance requirements in all locations;
- Manage various employment formats: B2B, contractors, hybrid cooperation models;
- Optimize processes, costs, and tax burden of the group of companies.
What we expect:
- Experience in a Head/Director level leadership position managing a team of 20+ people;
- Deep expertise in payroll, Compensation & Benefits, financial control, or HR accounting in large international companies;
- Experience in a multi-country and multi-jurisdictional environment;
- Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with ERP systems (1C, Baz, or equivalents);
- Successful experience in automating and optimizing financial and payroll processes;
- Understanding of tax legislation, payroll compliance, and financial control principles;
- Experience with various cooperation models (B2B, contractors, mixed workforce);
- Strong analytical skills, systemic thinking, and ability to build complex processes;
- Willingness to work in a multi-location structure with a key focus on Cyprus and on-site presence for onboarding/relocation.
Will be an advantage:
- Experience in scaling payroll and C&B functions in fast-growing international companies;
- Experience interacting with CFOs and participating in group-level transformation projects.
