Alventa is looking for a Python Backend Developer (AI Voice Agents).

Job description

Develop and maintain backend services in Python; develop dialog agent logic, including call scenarios and states, data extraction from utterances, and working with LLMs.

• Integrate services with HIS, clinic CRMs, and external APIs; design REST APIs for the operator web interface and clinic admin panel.
• Work with background tasks and queues, design data schemas, and optimize PostgreSQL queries.
• Analyze call logs, fix bugs in agent behavior, participate in code reviews, and cover code with tests.
• Deploy and maintain services in Docker on Ubuntu.

Requirements: 1–3 years of commercial Python development; experience with FastAPI and async/await, Pydantic v2, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, Docker Compose, Git/GitHub, and Linux (Ubuntu). Ability to read others' code and deliver tasks to production.

Will be a plus: integrations with LLM APIs (OpenAI-compatible APIs, vLLM), prompt engineering, structured output; LangGraph, LangChain; WebSocket, streaming, audio; SIP, Asterisk, LiveKit, Pipecat; integrations with medical information systems; pytest.
