OTA Backoffice is the backend foundation for all post-sale processes. We are responsible for what happens to an order after it is placed: from financial accounting to the automation of support and accounting processes.
Within our area of responsibility:
- support for the support admin panel – the accounting system (Registry);
- automation of financial reconciliations with suppliers and payment systems;
- automatic refunds and implementation of a unified flat data storage (collecting order data from the moment the ticket is issued to any post-sale changes).
What needs to be done
- understand existing backoffice systems: they contain a lot of business logic, accumulated context, and dependencies on other teams;
- maintain and develop old, but critical for current operations systems; participate in their redesign, migration, or rewriting when necessary;
- untangle system interconnectedness, propose technical solutions, and consistently improve their technical state;
- participate in making general team decisions: proactively review and challenge approaches, form and defend your opinion, propose changes;
- in the future, participate in migrating part of the services to Go.
What we expect from you
- confident experience in commercial development in C#;
- experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex backend systems;
- ability to understand legacy code and gradually improve existing solutions;
- experience in conducting code reviews and making architectural decisions;
- good knowledge of relational databases;
- understanding of container infrastructure principles (Kubernetes will be a plus).
