OTA Backoffice is the backend foundation for all post-sale processes. We are responsible for what happens to an order after it's placed: from financial accounting to the automation of support and accounting processes.
Within our area of responsibility:
- Support of the admin panel – accounting system (Registry);
- Automation of financial reconciliations with suppliers and payment systems;
- Automated refunds and implementation of a unified flat data storage (collecting order data from the moment of ticket issuance to any post-sale changes).
We are looking for a Team Lead who not only manages the team but also remains a strong engineer: participates in development, makes technical decisions, and helps the team evolve the system.
What you will do
- Develop internal services and tools in C#/.NET used by various company teams;
- Write code, conduct code reviews, and help the team make technical decisions;
- Gradually understand the existing architecture and improve it: reduce service coupling, define areas of responsibility, and reduce technical debt;
- Participate in the development of a large administrative application and its gradual separation into independent components;
- Collaborate with product teams to jointly define system development priorities;
- Develop the team: help engineers grow, share expertise, and foster an engineering culture;
- In the future, participate in preparing the migration of some services to Go.
What we expect from you
- Solid experience in commercial development with C#/.NET;
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex backend systems;
- Ability to understand legacy code and gradually improve existing solutions;
- Experience in conducting code reviews and making architectural decisions;
- Good knowledge of relational databases;
- Understanding of container infrastructure principles (Kubernetes will be a plus);
- Experience in technical leadership or managing a small development team;
- Willingness to combine a leadership role with active development.
