Job Title: Java Engineer
Uzum Market is a marketplace with a wide assortment and fast delivery that has become part of the daily life of most Uzbekistanis. We are developing our own logistics infrastructure across the country, creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and their clients. We are looking for experienced Java developers for our product and platform teams. You will work with a modern stack, develop high-load services, and scale our system for business growth.
What you will be doing:
- Devising and implementing architectural solutions: you propose technical solutions to achieve business goals
- Writing production code in Java to solve highload tasks and create stable and scalable services
- Writing tests, conducting code reviews
- Deploying your services together with infrastructure and platform teams
- Improving the reliability and quality of the system at all levels
What is important to us:
- 6+ years of experience in product development using Java 11+ and Spring Boot 2/3
- Understanding of queues, experience with Postgres
- Excellent technical foundation, understanding of modular and microservices architecture principles
- Ability to interact with CI/CD and modern stack: k8s, Docker, Helm
- Most importantly: a desire to solve complex problems in a team of enthusiastic colleagues
