About the role
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer capable of independently designing and implementing backend solutions for a complex product service.
Responsibilities:
- development and enhancement of the product's backend on PHP 8;
- design of service and database architecture;
- writing and optimizing complex SQL queries;
- ensuring system stability and performance;
- writing autotests and maintaining code quality;
- participation in code reviews and technical discussions;
- collaboration with frontend developers and other backend engineers;
- participation in solving tasks related to load and scaling.
Required skills:
- 6+ years of commercial PHP development experience;
- strong proficiency in PHP 8;
- experience in igaming/payment solution providers/fintech;
- deep understanding of OOP and design patterns;
- confident work with MySQL, including complex queries and optimization;
- experience in designing database schemas;
- development experience with Laravel (knowledge of Symfony will be an advantage);
- experience writing unit and integration tests;
- experience working with Redis;
- confident use of Docker and Git;
- good understanding of Linux, confident work in the console;
- basic setup and understanding of nginx operation.
Will be an advantage:
- experience with high-load systems;
- experience designing and supporting scalable services;
- experience with Golang;
- understanding of fault tolerance principles and monitoring.
