Analyst-Developer in R&D

Our team is responsible for the quality of Yandex's key technologies: speech recognition and synthesis, translation, image generation, large language and multimodal models. We are currently facing the most complex task — to make the neural network Alice the smartest and most helpful. To achieve this, we create quality metrics, collect and verify data to improve models, and establish annotation processes involving experts.

We are looking for talented analysts ready to search for answers with us and develop technologies for millions of users in a world where increasingly smarter models and new approaches emerge every day.

What tasks await you

Developing model skills You will develop a wide variety of model skills — from agency and coding ability to solving and explaining school tasks and working with files hundreds of pages long.

Evaluating the quality of our models and competitor models You will invent and implement complex metrics that objectively reflect the real level of technology.

Establishing data collection processes for fine-tuning and RL You will work with expert annotators on creating complex signals, speeding up annotation using LLMs.

Studying current research You will analyze new benchmarks, datasets, data collection approaches, identify the most useful ones, and implement them in our work.

We expect you to
