Lead Python Developer

An international product IT company develops and supports high-load projects for large companies, primarily in the entertainment online services sector.

What you will do:

— Design architecture and develop backend services for data storage and processing — Be responsible for technical quality: code review, development standards, testing, documentation — Develop a team of Python developers: participate in hiring, mentoring, task distribution, and decomposition — Integrate internal and external systems, design REST/gRPC APIs — Create data flow management tools and infrastructure automation — Collaborate with DevOps to build CI/CD, deployment, and observability: metrics, logs, alerting — Participate in technical planning, estimation of deadlines and risks, interact with adjacent teams

What is important:

— 5+ years of commercial Python development, with 1–2+ years in a Team Lead / Tech Lead / Lead Developer role — Experience designing high-load distributed services — Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other DBMS — Confident work in UNIX and command line — Docker + Kubernetes: images, manifests/Helm, deployment — Experience building unit/integration tests and a code review culture — Understanding of observability: Prometheus, Grafana, or similar

Will be a plus:

— GitLab CI/CD — Terraform, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code — Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other queues/streaming — Vault, Sealed Secrets, External Secrets — Java or Go
