REMOTE GLOBAL | TrueSpace
We are looking for an engineer to support and develop the TrueSpace VPN service. An important nuance: we are not a VPN service in the usual sense — VPN is a built-in part of our ecosystem that works only for members of the TrueSpace community.
Work under the guidance of the CTO: he sets the direction, you implement it with high quality.
What you will be doing
- Support of VPN infrastructure: servers in different locations, monitoring uptime and speed
- Incident response (IP/domain blocks, node failures): replacement, rotation, recovery — according to instructions and with the CTO's assistance
- Server and configuration setup (Xray/Reality, WireGuard)
- Work with the VPN panel: subscriptions, limits, traffic accounting
- Service development: routine automation, integration with a Telegram bot — with senior review
- Maintaining infrastructure documentation
Requirements
- Confident Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian): systemd, SSH, iptables/nftables
- Understanding of networks: TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, routing
- Basic bash (Python is a plus)
- Experience with VPS/cloud servers
- Accuracy, attention to detail, readiness to work on assigned tasks
- Trainability and a desire to delve deeper into VPN technologies
Will be a plus
- Xray/V2Ray, WireGuard
- VPN panels (Marzban / Remnawave / 3x-ui / Hiddify)
- Understanding of DPI blocking and Reality
- Docker, Telegram Bot API, monitoring (Grafana / Uptime Kuma)
What is important from a human perspective
- Quick incident response — service downtime = churn
- Careful attitude towards user privacy
- We have a horizontal structure: everyone has the right to have and defend their opinion about the product. If it's important for you to be heard, not just to close tasks — you are welcome
What we offer
- Direct interaction with the founders, everything is horizontal
- Remote work and flexible schedule
- Long-term cooperation
- Real influence on architecture and product
