We are the R&D team of the GigaLegal project at SBER, creating legal domain solutions based on LLMs to automate legal processes.
Our goal is to transform the work of lawyers, businesses, and government agencies through:
Automation of contract and legal document analysis
Intelligent generation of legal texts
Development of specialized legal chatbots
Creation of autonomous legal AI agents
Responsibilities
- development and advancement of LLM projects in the legal domain — from prototypes to production
- design and training of expert agents solving legal domain tasks (RAG pipelines, query classification, answer generation, relevance assessment)
- research and configuration of multi-agent orchestration (LangGraph, LangChain, schema guided reasoning pipelines)
- working with GigaChat as the primary model, as well as experiments with ChatGPT, Gemini, Qwen
- fine-tuning of small models (instruction-tuning, adapters, LoRA) to improve the quality of legal reasoning
- development of quality metrics
- interaction with legal engineers and analysts — implementing models in real cases (alimony, consumer rights, labor, etc.)
Requirements
- work experience as a DS/ML engineer for 3+ years
- understanding of LLM architecture and principles of prompt engineering
- experience in building RAG systems, fine-tuning and retraining models
- ability to design inference / retraining pipelines
It will be a plus:
- experience in LegalTech or related fields (finance, document management, chatbots).
- understanding of the structure and logic of Russian regulatory acts
- experience in integrating LLMs with external APIs or knowledge bases
