What you will do
- Design the architecture of backend services and integration components for industrial ML solutions.
- Develop high-load and fault-tolerant services, APIs, and orchestration components for working with ML models, LLMs, and agent systems.
- Design integrations with corporate systems, data sources, message queues, and internal platforms.
- Be responsible for the performance, reliability, scalability, and observability of services in production.
- Conduct code reviews, participate in technical decision-making, and develop engineering practices within the team.
- Interact with ML engineers and MLOps when designing end-to-end solution architectures and deploying them to production.
What we expect
- At least 4 years of commercial backend development experience in Python.
- Deep knowledge of Python, understanding of async/await, concurrency, multithreading, and the specifics of network applications.
- Experience in designing and developing high-load or distributed backend services.
- Experience developing REST APIs and services using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
- Good understanding of architectural approaches, API design principles, and inter-service communication.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, indexes, transactions, query optimization.
- Experience with Redis, message brokers, and asynchronous interaction patterns.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Understanding of observability: metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring, and diagnosing production incidents.
- Experience conducting code reviews and making technical decisions at the service or system level.
Bonus points
- Experience developing production systems around ML models or LLMs.
- Understanding the specifics of model serving, inference, streaming, and working with GPU-backed services.
- Experience with vLLM, SGLang, Triton, LiteLLM, or similar tools.
- Experience developing RAG and agent systems.
- Experience with ClickHouse, Kafka, and vector databases.
- Experience in performance tuning and identifying bottlenecks in distributed systems.
- Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript or Go.
- Experience mentoring developers and participating in the development of team technical standards.
