Data Engineer

Project Description: We are looking for a product data mart developer to join the marketing team of a major Russian bank.

We are creating Martech tools for end-to-end analytics, allowing us to track the entire user journey from banner view to the first transaction, automate ad launches in Digital, and manage them more effectively. Our main goal is to be #1 in customer acquisition in the digital space.

Work Experience: from 2 years.

Key Candidate Requirements:

• Advanced SQL (analytical functions, subqueries, stored procedures, performance optimization).
• Big Data technology stack (Hadoop, Spark, Hive/Impala) and any DBMS.
• Knowledge of DWH concepts and definitions.
• Python (PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, REST API);
• Airflow/Dagster/Oozie
• BitBucket\Git
• Bash
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills, responsibility

Will be a plus:

• Experience with web analytics data, mobile application data, ad accounts (YandexMetrica, AppMetrica, or other clickstream data).
• Experience with website tagging through Google Tag Manager, basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of banking business;
• Experience working with Agile (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.);

Candidate Responsibilities

• Loading, cleaning, and transforming large volumes of data from various sources (RDBMS, Hadoop, flat files) into a working environment (Hadoop platforms).
• Designing and developing analytical data marts.
• Designing and developing connectors for ETL processes.
• Monitoring and optimizing data loading, transformation, and data mart assembly processes.
• Developing, supporting, and optimizing infrastructure and internal services for processing large volumes of data.
• Developing tools for automating routine tasks related to data processing.
