We are looking for a Senior C/C++ Engineer to work with the internals of PostgreSQL and Greenplum. The role involves low-level development, participation in query optimization, parallel data processing, and development of the MPP architecture. This is a position for engineers interested in complex system tasks and working with the DBMS core.
What we expect from you: — Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience in software engineering; — Strong knowledge and practical experience in C / C++ development; — Interest and readiness to work with the PostgreSQL core and low-level DBMS components; — Understanding of the principles of high-load and distributed systems; — Ability to navigate large and complex code.
Will be a plus: — Experience with PostgreSQL internals or Greenplum; — Experience in query optimization, parallel execution, distributed databases; — Experience with analytical or AI/ML platforms.
