T2 AdTech** is a strategic direction that combines the assets of major players in the advertising market: Yabbi, Redllama, and Plazkart. We select effective modern solutions for advertisers and advertising agencies through our platforms using proprietary technologies and T2 Big Data.
We are currently looking for a backend developer for the Yabbi team.
About the product:
You will work on an SSP platform that helps mobile app and website owners profitably sell advertising space. Imagine a high-tech auction: on one side are publishers offering ad placements, on the other side are advertisers vying for user attention. The platform collects information about placements (format, geo, audience) and advertiser requirements (target audience, budget), and then conducts a real-time auction to determine who gets the impression.
What you will do:
- Implement individual, pre-defined tasks for the backend of the platform using Go - this is the main part of the work;
- Write database queries (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis) - initially under the guidance of a mentor;
- Cover code with unit tests and refine it based on code review results;
- Study the system architecture and the subject area of advertising auctions, with the support of a mentor;
- Interact with the team: lead, senior engineer, testing, and project managers.
Tech Stack:
- Go;
- gRPC - the main protocol for inter-service communication;
- PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis;
- Kafka;
- Service architecture, Kubernetes, Docker - we deploy in our own K8s cluster;
- Prometheus, Grafana.
What is important to us in a candidate:
- Trainability and motivation: knowledge of every technology in the stack is not required, the desire to learn is more important;
- Initiative: willingness to independently delve into the system and propose solutions, rather than waiting for tasks to be broken down;
- Understanding of the system as a whole: the team is small, there is no narrow specialization of "one button" here.
What we expect:
- Higher technical education; we also consider candidates after specialized courses or internships;
- Commercial development experience is not required: the position is designed for candidates with no experience or up to 1 year of experience;
- Basic knowledge of Go, understanding of goroutines and network programming;
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and design patterns;
- Understanding why modular extensible code and clean architecture are needed;
- Ability to write unit tests;
- Experience with at least one relational or NoSQL database at a level of understanding how data is stored and retrieved;
- Familiarity with version control systems and the code review process;
- English language proficiency at the level of reading technical documentation;
- Readiness to take responsibility for the results of your work.
Will be a plus:
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Redis;
- Understanding of Kubernetes and Docker basics;
- Experience with Prometheus/Grafana.
What we offer:
- Legal, timely, and competitive salary;
- Flexible schedule: start of the workday between 8 AM and 10 AM;
- Mentorship from the team lead;
- Opportunity to influence technical decisions and product development.
