Product Story Designer

We create stories within 2GIS: we introduce users to the app's features, help them understand the product, and tell them about places and partner offers.

We are looking for a communication designer who will take over the visual part of stories and develop this format with the team. We need to come up with expressive presentations for various topics, explain complex things clearly, and bring ideas to finished materials.

What will you do?

• Create story designs based on provided texts: come up with a visual idea and develop it into a sequence of screens.
• Find suitable presentations for different tasks — from explaining a product feature to telling about a place or a partner offer.
• Work with text together with an editor: suggest shortenings, change accents, and rearrange information across screens if it helps the story.
• Develop the visual language of stories within the 2GIS brand: try new techniques, create templates, and collect successful solutions into a system.
• Independently manage design tasks from discussion to final mockups: clarify requirements, propose solutions, justify them, and work with feedback.
• Monitor the overall quality of the format: identify recurring problems and suggest improvements.

What we expect?

• 2+ years of experience in communication or graphic design.
• A strong portfolio with works relevant to the tasks: digital communications, editorial or product materials.
• Strong skills in composition, typography, and color. Ability to build hierarchy and make information clear on a small screen.
• Ability to create visual presentations for the meaning of text and communication goals.
• Ability to work with a series of screens: manage rhythm, maintain coherence, and set accents.
• Ability to work within a brand and find opportunities to develop its visual language.
• Independence: understand the task, request missing information, propose an approach, and complete the work to release.
• Ability to explain your solutions and discuss them with the team.
