About the company: An international FinTech project in the payments sector is looking for a Risk Manager / Senior Risk Manager to manage the operational and financial risks of a payment institution.

About the role: In this role, you will be responsible for managing operational and financial risks associated with counterparties and cross-border payment transactions, administering risk management policies, and preparing regular reports for top management.

Key responsibilities: Financial, cross-border and liquidity risks: • Monitoring account balances with banks, PSPs, and TPPs. • Managing foreign exchange (FX) risk and minimizing losses during multi-currency conversions and settlements between Europe and Asia. • Assessing the financial stability of counterparties, including banks, payment gateways, and major merchants.

Regulatory compliance, methodology, and standards: • Adapting risk management policies to the requirements of PSD2/PSD3 and local Asian regulators, including MAS in Singapore and HKMA in Hong Kong. • Preparing regular reports on operational losses and financial stability for top management.

What's important: • 3+ years of experience in Risk Management • Experience in FinTech, EMI, payment institutions, or banks • Experience with cross-border payments / acquiring • Deep understanding of Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay • Knowledge of APM and cross-border clearing processes • Knowledge of EBA Guidelines on ICT and Security Risk • Understanding of Asian requirements for payment system risk management • Excel, SQL • Knowledge of AI will be a plus

Languages: • English — Upper-Intermediate / Advanced • Russian — Fluent
