What you will be doing
- Developing and maintaining dashboards: creating, improving, and supporting reports in BI systems, working with filters, dimensions, visualizations, calculated metrics, and user scenarios.
- Gathering and formalizing requirements: interacting with internal stakeholders, clarifying business tasks, translating vague requests into a clear report structure, describing metrics and calculation logic.
- Working with data for reporting: writing SQL queries, preparing datasets and simple data marts based on pre-prepared data, verifying data sufficiency and correctness for report generation.
- Working with Superset and its enhancements: creating and configuring datasets, charts, and dashboards, testing changes in the test version, participating in processing the backlog for improving reporting and visualization elements.
What's important to us
- 1.5–2 years of experience in BI, data analytics, reporting, or a related role.
- Solid knowledge of SQL: JOIN, CTE, window functions, aggregations, CASE WHEN, filters, working with dates.
- Experience with BI tools: Superset, Redash, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, DataLens, or similar.
- Understanding of dashboard design principles and management reporting.
- Ability to gather requirements and clarify the business logic of metrics.
- Ability to explain to users how the numbers in reports are generated.
- Basic understanding of data marts, datasets, reference data, facts, and dimensions.
- Willingness to work with the test version of the BI tool and test minor enhancements.
