theGirl publication is looking for a Editor (Korean Pop Culture).
Responsibilities:
- Searching for and prompt preparation of relevant news on Asian topics for the website
- Creating covers for publications, selecting photos and images in compliance with copyright law
- Must adhere to deadlines, editorial standards, and other requirements
Conditions:
- Remote work format with the option to visit the office if desired
- Five-day work week (Monday — Friday)
- Flexible working hours
- Opportunity to independently adjust the volume of publications: there is a set minimum, and further workload, time allocation, and payment amount depend on you
- Friendly team with whom you can always discuss K-pop and dramas
Requirements:
- Fluent Russian and the ability to write interestingly
- Excellent knowledge of K-pop: ideally from the era of SNSD and BIGBANG to aespa and CORTIS
- Excellent knowledge of dramas and actors, interest in current releases
- Ability to find and verify information
- Knowledge of English for working with English-language sources
- Work experience with texts, including internships
- Knowledge of Chinese dramas and representatives of the Chinese entertainment industry will be an advantage
- Basic understanding of SEO will be an advantage
- Interest in Korean culture, including history, literature, and other aspects, will be an advantage
