AppMagic – a service that helps companies worldwide analyze mobile apps and games: from revenue and downloads to in-depth game and market analytics. Our product is already used by 300+ companies, including NetEase, Google, and PlayVentures.

We have been on the market for over 8 years and have built strong expertise in analytics during this time. At the same time, we maintain a startup atmosphere within the team: we make decisions quickly, offer a lot of autonomy, minimize bureaucracy, and focus on results.

We are currently developing a new direction – an analytical platform for the PC game market and Steam. The product is at the MVP stage: basic metrics are already working and receiving positive feedback from users. We are looking for a Junior / Middle Data Analyst to join our team, who will work with the analytical model and data quality.

What tasks you will be working on:

• Support and improvement of the Steam analytical model
• Identifying the causes of anomalies and discrepancies in calculations
• Analysis of input data, metric logic, and coefficients
• Collecting and analyzing data from public and external sources
• Assessing data quality and accuracy

What is important to us:

• Proficient SQL skills (above basic level)
• Python for data analytics (pandas, numpy, polars, or similar libraries)
• Basic understanding of statistics and probability theory
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and accuracy in working with data
• Interest in analytics and readiness for manual, thoughtful work

What will be a plus:

• Mathematical / technical education
• Experience with public data sources
• Understanding of the PC game market / Steam platform
• Experience with data parsing or understanding of data collection principles
