FINCA Azerbaijan is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance and accounting function. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Management Team, the CFO will drive financial strategy, planning, and risk management helping guide FINCA Azerbaijan toward sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term resilience.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting (local standards, IFRS/GAAP)
• Oversee treasury, liquidity, and cash flow management
• Manage relationships with creditors, donors, and external auditors
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk controls
• Provide strategic leadership as part of the Management Team

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Accounting (CPA/ACCA or equivalent required; Master's preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in financial management, ideally within a financial institution
• Big 4 audit experience is a plus
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Fluent English required
• Willingness to travel 20–25%
