Now we are looking for an experienced manual QA engineer for part-time employment — at least 4 hours a day. We need a self-sufficient specialist of Middle level or higher who can quickly understand our products and fully engage in work without needing basic testing training.
Work Context
- Products — only Web: Desktop and Mobile Web, no mobile applications.
- Main products — a multi-page aggregator on Next.js and landing pages on WordPress.
- The aggregator is released every two weeks.
- Tasks for landing pages come in a continuous stream through stage → production.
- The team already includes other manual QA engineers and a separate automation department.
- We actively use AI tools to speed up our work.
What you will be doing
- Performing functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing of web products.
- Testing tasks on Desktop and Mobile Web, in various browsers and resolutions.
- Verifying changes on stage and production.
- Analyzing requirements, identifying ambiguities and potential risks before development begins.
- Independently determining the necessary depth of testing considering risks and the task's impact on the business.
- Creating clear and reproducible bug reports, monitoring the fixing of found defects.
- Preparing and maintaining test cases, checklists, and other testing documentation.
- Checking data in the database when necessary for task testing.
- Participating in regression testing and release support.
- Interacting with developers, analysts, product managers, and other QA engineers.
- Using AI tools for preparing test scenarios and SQL queries, analyzing logs, and accelerating routine tasks.
Our ideal candidate
- Has at least 2 years of commercial experience in manual testing of web products.
- Has worked with products in production and understands the full task cycle: from requirement analysis to post-release verification.
- Does not require training in the basics of testing and can independently organize their work.
- Confidently creates test cases and checklists, localizes defects, and prepares high-quality bug reports.
- Knows how to work with DevTools.
- Understands the specifics of cross-browser and adaptive testing.
- Can assess risks and distinguish critical defects from non-critical ones.
- Is capable of quickly getting up to speed with an unfamiliar product and asking the right questions.
- Is responsible for agreements and meets deadlines.
- Actively uses AI tools in daily work.
