Payments Lead

We’re hiring a Payments Lead at A-Players - a hands-on role for someone who wants to own a payment stack end-to-end.

📍 Based in Limassol, Cyprus - relocation supported.

The infrastructure is already live - a multi-PSP setup with orchestration on top - so this isn’t a build-from-zero role. It’s the opposite: the stack works, but it isn’t yet mature. Reconciliation, payment reporting, monitoring and incident management are only partly in place, and billing analytics is roughly halfway there. Bringing those to a mature, reliable state is the core of this role.

Our ideal candidate has:

• 🔹 3+ years in payments / billing / payment operations - merchant side, B2C subscriptions
• 🔹 Hands-on experience with the full recurring lifecycle: renewals, retries, dunning, recovery
• 🔹 Practical multi-PSP and orchestration experience - routing, cascading, failover, MIDs
• 🔹 Strong grasp of payment risk and card scheme monitoring programs
• 🔹 Comfort in the data - able to build or specify payment reporting
• 🔹 Is located in Cyprus or would like to relocate
