The Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum is looking for an Inclusion Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Adaptation of museum programs for visitors with disabilities (priority for visually impaired and blind people);
- Development and implementation of museum programs/events for people with disabilities;
- Participation in the adaptation of museum spaces and territories within the framework of creating an accessible environment;
- Working with visitors with disabilities (including accompanying groups of visitors with disabilities during museum visits, assisting in conducting events);
- Organization and preparation of training sessions from experts for museum staff;
- Interaction with relevant institutions, including kindergartens, schools, adaptation centers, foundations, etc.;
- Document management and reporting.
Requirements:
- Work experience of 1 year or more;
- Higher education;
- Certificate or document confirming qualification or training in working with people with disabilities;
- Knowledge of principles of working with people with disabilities;
- Free orientation in the field of inclusion;
- Understanding of museum specifics;
- Fluent oral and written communication skills;
- Developed communication skills;
- Knowledge of communication ethics with people with disabilities;
- Knowledge of Russian Sign Language, audio description, and plain language will be an advantage.
