Volunteers required for the charity organization One, two, all.
Since 2004, "One, two, all" has been caring for children living in the third building of the Pavlovsk Children's Home-Boarding School No. 4, and adults who have transitioned to psycho-neurological boarding schools. The organization works to ensure that children with developmental disabilities have the same opportunities as their peers: a happy childhood and education.
What volunteers will do:
- Visit the children's home-boarding school or the boarding school for adults 1-2 times a week. The convenient time for your visit needs to be coordinated with the program managers, and you should also consider the institutions' operational requirements.
- Get to know and participate in the lives of 2-3 children or adult wards.
- Help children acquire social, daily living, and self-care skills.
- Walk with the child/adult wards, support and strengthen their communication skills.
- Conduct various activities with the wards that do not require professional expertise (if the needs and abilities of the child/adult ward allow it).
- Accompany the wards on various outings outside the institution and to camps.
- Participate in preparing for holidays and events held on or off the institution's premises.
- If you wish to visit our children occasionally and give them your attention, you can walk with a group or a specific child, conduct play activities, and teach them independent living skills — eating, dressing, tying shoelaces.
- Volunteer groups are regularly formed to accompany children and adult wards on excursions and masterclasses.
