Volunteers for the Archstoyanie Contemporary Art and Architecture Festival

Archstoyanie is recruiting Volunteers to help before and during the festival. Nikola-Lenivets volunteers are a community of like-minded individuals who have been forming for over 10 years, for whom these places and festivals have become a part of their soul.

Archstoyanie is an annual international festival of landscape objects in Nikola-Lenivets (Dzerzhinsky District, Kaluga Region). It is a unique project that offers a new approach to territory development and presents the idea of interacting with the landscape through creative practices and contemporary art.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the territory and objects, assistance to artists and organizers
• Working with festival guests, navigation around the venue
• Participation in installation, space design, and related organizational processes
• Performing other tasks for event organization and support

Conditions:

• Festival dates: July 23-26, 2026
• Work during one of the volunteer shifts (first shift: July 13–26; second shift: July 20–26)
• Accommodation in a tent camp on the festival grounds
• Meals provided (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) by the organizers
• Access to hot showers near the volunteer camp

Requirements:

• Any experience: creative, technical, organizational, construction, tourism, or any other may be useful
